Just Ordered!

Today I just ordered school books! I can’t wait to get them. It took all my inner strength to not pay to expedite AND rush my order. I LOVE to receive books in the mail. I cannot wait to share my reviews of some new curriculum with you. Please check back and let me share with you what I got and how it looks! I was able to buy some really, really nice stuff this year. BEFORE & AFTER SHOTS

Sales were REALLY slow to start. It rarely happens, but all three of us were almost despondent at the same time! You can see from the top picture that we finally started to get some action at the tables! This was a long convention, Thurs- Sat. No one really started shopping until late friday night and then Saturday afternoon. There were nonstop workshops that left little time to shop!

We were thrilled to have the corner lot. People would walk right by us, yes, I said RIGHT BY US, to get to their workshop. We needed to be facing the OTHER way, so when they came out of class and had time to shop they could visit us.

Our First Convention Season!

We have just completed our first convention season for FFYB! Let me just say how MUCH we learned! That would include the DO’S and DON’TS  of selling, packing, marketing, making deals, etc !!! It seems that the Lord has chosen a path for us that ALWAYS includes hands-on-learning, which is funny as that is what we believe in so much we started a business for that purpose! For kids, though…never thought it would still apply to us! I will put some pics up here of our display. Thanks to all those who prayed for us as we traveled and made sales pitches!
